Not a Template. Not Random.
When you hit "Generate" in Glyph, you're not picking from templates. And it's not random either. Here's what actually happens under the hood.
Step 1: Intent Parsing
You give us a name, a vibe, and an optional industry category. From these inputs, we extract:
- —Semantic keywords from your brand name
- —Brand archetype (tech, organic, luxury, playful, etc.)
- —Color psychology mapping from your vibe selection
- —Industry-specific rules (fintech needs trust signals, D2C needs energy)
This creates what we call a "Brand DNA" — a structured set of constraints that guide every generation decision.
Step 2: Parallel Generation
Five systems run simultaneously:
Color Engine
Takes your Brand DNA and generates a full palette — primary, secondary, accent, neutrals, and semantic colors (success, warning, error). It runs accessibility checks inline, ensuring every combination meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimums.
Typography Intelligence
Matches font pairings to your vibe and industry. A fintech brand gets serif headers and professional body fonts. A developer tool gets geometric sans with monospace accents. Each pairing includes a complete type scale with responsive sizes.
Logo Engine
This is the most complex system. It composites logos from:
- —Curated icon libraries matched to your industry
- —Shape containers (circles, shields, rounded squares)
- —Layout algorithms (symbol + wordmark, standalone mark, etc.)
- —Color application from the palette engine
The output is SVG-native, scalable to any size, and generated — not selected from a template bank.
Strategy Engine
Generates brand positioning from your inputs:
- —Mission and vision statements
- —Brand values (3-5 core values)
- —Tagline options
- —Brand personality descriptors
- —Target audience profile
AI Assets (Optional)
For custom icons and illustrations, we use Cloudflare Workers AI to generate unique visual assets that match your brand's aesthetic.
Step 3: Assembly
All five outputs merge into a unified Brand Identity object — a single JSON structure containing everything: colors, fonts, logos, strategy, and metadata. This is what you see in the preview and what exports as your brand package.
Step 4: Export
When you export, we render everything into production-ready formats:
- —Tailwind config with CSS custom properties
- —SVG/PNG logos at multiple sizes
- —PDF brand guidelines with all specifications
- —React components with your tokens baked in
- —Figma-ready structured handoff files
What Makes This Different From a Logo Maker?
Logo makers generate one thing: a logo. Glyph generates a system. Your colors, typography, logo, and strategy are all connected — change one, and the system adapts. That's the difference between a random icon and a brand identity.
The Human Layer
AI generation is the starting point, not the endpoint. Every output is editable. Swap colors. Try different fonts. Regenerate logos. The AI gives you a professional foundation in seconds. You shape it into something uniquely yours.
That's the whole philosophy: AI does the heavy lifting, you make the creative calls.
